Photography website template
A free photography website template with your portfolio in three cards, for weddings, portraits and brand work, and a form where clients ask whether you are free on their date. Swap the sample photos for your own, and add portrait sessions people book and pay for on the page.
At the top sits your name, a round photo and a line on what you shoot, with Instagram and Pinterest underneath. The page is a dark charcoal texture with light text, see-through cards with thin outlines and plenty of space between them.
What’s on this page
Weddings
Up to five photos with a title and a line of text. A card can show your work, an item for sale with a link to buy it, a product you recommend, or a code to copy.
Weddings get the widest card and three photos, because couples look at a lot of pictures before they enquire. Choose a run that tells one day, from getting ready to the first dance, and use the line under the title for how you work on the day.
Portraits
Up to five photos with a title and a line of text. A card can show your work, an item for sale with a link to buy it, a product you recommend, or a code to copy.
Portraits sit well in a tall frame. Use your favourite single portrait and a line that tells a nervous sitter what the session is like, such as relaxed, outdoors and no stiff poses.
Brands
Up to five photos with a title and a line of text. A card can show your work, an item for sale with a link to buy it, a product you recommend, or a code to copy.
Brand clients want to see products and people photographed for a business like theirs. Name the kind of work in the line, like product shots and team portraits for small businesses, and change the photo whenever you finish a shoot you are proud of. Tapping a card opens it on its own page, so you can send a brand client straight to this one.
Book a shoot
A form with the questions you choose, for enquiries, quotes or feedback. Every answer is saved for you in Keepp.
The form asks for an email, confirmed with a code, the date or month and what the shoot is for, which is everything you need to check your diary and send a quote. Its button pulses gently so it is easy to find. Change the choices if you shoot other things, like newborns or events.
Add to it
Portrait session
Appointments from your weekly hours, or stays by the night. Visitors pick a time and book on the page, and can pay through your own Stripe account.
Portraits and mini sessions are easier to sell as a set time people book themselves. Set the length and the days you shoot, write the meeting place in the location line and take payment or a deposit through your own Stripe account when they book. Connect Google Calendar so days you already have a wedding are not offered.
Fine art print
An item you sell, with photos, a price and a buy button. Buyers pay on the page through your own Stripe account.
Sell prints of your own work as a product, with photos of the print and a line on the paper. Buyers pay through your own Stripe account, and you can ask at checkout which size they want and where to send it. Set a stock limit for a numbered edition, and sales stop once that many have sold in total.
What to wear to your shoot
A piece of writing, like a guide or a list, that opens to be read in full with its own photos and items.
Clients ask the same things before every session. Write the answers once as an article, like what to wear or what happens if it rains, and send the link with every booking confirmation.
Questions
What should a photography website include?
Your best work grouped by the kind of shoot, a line on how you work, the area you cover and an easy way to check a date. This template has three portfolio cards and a form that asks for the date and the type of shoot.
Can clients book a shoot?
Yes. The template's form lets them ask about a date, and you can add a booking block for sessions with a set length, which they book and pay for on the page.
Can I show galleries?
Yes. Each card holds a run of photos that visitors swipe through, and it has an address of its own you can send to a client. Make a card for each wedding or each kind of work.
Can I sell prints?
Yes. Add a product for each print, with the sizes you offer as a question at checkout. Buyers pay through your own Stripe account.
