Sell Your Course From Anywhere It's Hosted
A course isn't only recorded video, and selling one doesn't require moving into a course platform's ecosystem. Here's how to sell or showcase a course from a real page, however and wherever it's actually delivered.
“How do I sell my course” almost always gets answered with a list of course platforms (Teachable, Thinkific, Podia, Kajabi) each asking you to move your content, your students, and your checkout into their ecosystem. That’s a real option, and for a course built around a large, structured video curriculum with drip-fed modules and a built-in student community, it’s often the right one.
It’s also not the only shape a course takes, and it’s not where Keepp fits. Keepp isn’t a course-hosting platform. There’s no video player, no drip-scheduling, no student dashboard. What it’s good for is the sales layer: a real page that sells or showcases a course, checkout included, regardless of where the actual content lives.
Two honest ways to combine the two
Sell on Keepp, deliver a link to wherever the content actually is. A product can be set up with a delivery link: a private Google Drive folder, an unlisted video, a Notion page, a login for content hosted somewhere else entirely. The buyer pays through your own connected Stripe account, gets a confirmation, and sees the delivery link and instructions on their purchase page. Keepp runs the checkout; the content lives wherever actually makes sense for it.
Showcase on Keepp, checkout somewhere else. If the course is already set up on a platform with its own checkout (Teachable, Kajabi, a Gumroad listing) a for-sale card shows the price and a description, and its button sends the buyer straight to that existing checkout. Keepp doesn’t touch the transaction; it’s the discovery and sales-page layer pointing at a checkout you’ve already built elsewhere.
Neither is a compromise version of “real” course selling. They’re both complete answers to different situations. Which one fits depends on where the content already is and whether you want Keepp or the other platform doing the actual charging.
A course isn’t only recorded video
The “course platform” framing assumes the product is pre-recorded video modules. A lot of what gets sold as a course is something else: a live cohort, a workshop series, office-hours access, a template pack with a walkthrough call. None of that needs a video-hosting platform at all. Live coaching and cohorts as the course alternative covers running that entirely through a booking block, no course platform in the picture.
A free module as the entry point
The free-to-paid pattern that works for selling online courses and community access applies here too: a free lesson or template, captured with Free pricing, collects a real email and gets someone into your funnel before asking for the sale, whether the paid course itself is delivered as a link or sold through a for-sale card pointing elsewhere.
Showing what’s actually in the course
Screenshots of the platform interface don’t sell a course; the outcome does. A showcase card with a testimonial, a before-and-after, or a specific result a past student got sits above your product or for-sale card and does more of the actual convincing than another curriculum bullet list.
Where to start
Decide where the content will actually live (hosted yourself with a delivery link, or already set up on a platform with its own checkout) and build the matching block. Claim your page and connect Stripe if you’re taking payment directly: free to start, no card required.
