Product block vs. for-sale card

Before you build anything, know which one you want:

• A product block takes payment directly on your page, through Stripe. The buyer never leaves your page to pay.
• A card with its kind set to for sale shows a price and opens a detail view, but its button sends the buyer somewhere else to actually complete the purchase — an external checkout, online store, or marketplace listing you already have.

Step 1: connect Stripe

A product can only go live once you’ve connected Stripe — see connect Stripe. Payment runs through Stripe Connect, so money from a sale is credited directly to your own Stripe account, not Keepp’s. You can build a product before that’s done; it just can’t be switched to Live until charges are enabled on your account.

Step 2: create the product

Go to Purchases → Products in your admin and create one. You’ll set:

• Title
• Price and currency — Keepp supports USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, and SGD.
• Stock — unlimited, or a fixed total number you can sell.
• Description and an image.
• Delivery (optional) — a private link (a Google Drive file, an unlisted video, a Notion page, anywhere you can host it) and instructions for the buyer. Buyers only see this after they’ve paid, on their purchase page.
• Live — the switch that makes the product buyable. It requires a connected Stripe account.

Step 3: add the block to your page

In the editor, add a product block and pick the product you just created from the list — only live products are selectable. Once picked, you can set:

• Title and description shown on the block (independent text from the product’s own fields, so you can word the block differently than the product record).
• Price text shown on the card.
• Photos.
• Buyable — turn this off to show the product without a way to buy it, for example while you’re still setting things up.

What the buyer sees

Tapping the block opens a panel on your page where the buyer picks a quantity and checks out — no separate page to navigate to, no lightbox that leaves your site until Stripe’s own payment step. If stock is limited, the panel shows what’s left and disables checkout once it’s gone.

If a product disappears

If the underlying product is archived or deleted after you’ve placed its block, the editor flags the block as pointing at a product that no longer exists and asks you to pick another — the page won’t publish with a dangling reference.
