Connect Stripe
Connect your own Stripe account so your page can take payment for products and bookings — you're the merchant of record, not Keepp.
Part of: Start selling
Taking payment on your page — for a product or a paid booking — runs through your own Stripe account, not Keepp’s. Connect it once from Connectors in your admin, and it powers both.
You’re the merchant of record
This is Stripe Connect: you connect your own Stripe account, and you are the merchant of record for everything sold through it. Keepp partners with Stripe, an internationally established payments processor, rather than building payment processing itself. Money from a sale or booking is credited directly to your Stripe account — it never sits with Keepp and gets forwarded on. Payouts, refunds, and disputes all happen in your Stripe dashboard, on Stripe’s own timelines. For what Keepp itself charges on top, see the pricing page.
Connecting
- Go to Connectors in your admin.
- Find Stripe and tap Connect.
- You’re sent to Stripe’s own onboarding flow to create or link an account and provide the details Stripe requires to accept payments.
- Once Stripe confirms your account can take charges, you’re back on Keepp and ready to sell.
The states you’ll see
The Stripe card on Connectors shows one of four states:
- Not connected — no Stripe account linked yet. Tap Connect to start.
- Onboarding incomplete — you’ve started connecting, but Stripe hasn’t enabled charges yet, usually because it needs more detail (business information, bank details, identity verification) before it will accept payments. This is the most common stuck state. Tap Resume setup to pick up where you left off on Stripe’s side.
- Connected — charges are enabled. You’re ready to sell.
- Needs reconnect — something broke the connection on Stripe’s side. Tap Reconnect to fix it.
You can Disconnect at any time from the same card.
What it’s actually for
Once connected, Stripe powers payment for both a product block (payment taken directly on your page) and a paid booking unit (a booking’s Stripe price, charged at the time a customer books). If a product or booking is set to charge through Stripe, it won’t be chargeable until this connection shows Connected.
