Part of the link in bio guide: What is a link in bio? The complete guide

Shopify shut down Linkpop, its free link in bio tool, on 7 July 2025. New sign-ups closed in June, and from the shutdown date nobody could log in, edit a page or sell a Shopify product from one. Shopify gave no detailed reason and pointed merchants to third-party link in bio apps instead. If a Linkpop address is still in your profiles, it is not selling anything. Keepp is a free replacement that does what Linkpop did (a shoppable link in bio) and more: product cards with checkout into your own Stripe account, or cards that link straight to your Shopify product pages, plus bookings, forms and chat on the same page.

What Linkpop did well, and what to look for now

Linkpop’s point was that a follower could tap a product in your bio page and buy it without hunting through your store. A replacement should keep that: a page where each product is a card with its picture, its price and a button, and where the sale either happens on the page or lands on the exact product page in your store. It should also be free to start, because Linkpop was, and it should not be the next tool to close with your page inside it.

What to do now

  1. List what was on your Linkpop page. The products, the collections, the links and the order.
  2. Build the new page. On Keepp, each product is a card with its picture, a description and a price. Point the card at your Shopify product page, or sell it on Keepp with Stripe checkout; the choice is per item. Add the rest of your links below.
  3. Replace the address in Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and your email signature. Putting your link in your bio walks through each app.
  4. Reprint QR codes on packaging inserts and cards with the new page’s own code, or with the code for a single product.

Keepp

Keepp is a free page built from blocks. A product block carries the picture, the description, the price and a buy button, and you decide per product whether the button checks out on Keepp with Stripe, into your own Stripe account, or opens the product on your Shopify store. Digital products are delivered automatically after payment. The rest of the page holds your links, your socials, a map with your hours if you have a shop, and a YouTube video if you want one.

For a seller, three more blocks earn their place. A form collects enquiries, custom orders and restock requests, with every submission exportable. A booking block takes appointments or consultations with real availability. Chat answers the questions that come in before a sale (sizing, shipping, stock), with an AI replying from everything on your page and you stepping in from Telegram. Every product has its own short link and QR code, so a post about one item opens that item. Start from one of 42 templates, or describe your Linkpop page and let Keepp’s AI build the first version.

What Linkpop could not offer is also here: nothing valuable sits inside the platform. Sales run through your own Stripe, orders and contacts export, and your own domain on the Pro plan keeps the address yours. A Keepp page never locks you in has the detail.

Linktree

A list of links with a free plan that does not expire. Its shop takes a 12% fee on the free plan and pays you out, cards are limited to the Featured tile, and there is no form or booking block. 7 Linktree alternatives compares the options.

Beacons

A creator page with a store, email tools and a media kit. The store takes 9% on the free plan and payment is processed by Beacons. Keepp vs Beacons has the comparison.

Hopp by Wix

Wix’s free link in bio sells and takes bookings, and your own domain comes with a yearly plan. It suits people already inside Wix.

Linkin.bio by Later

Later’s page clones your Instagram grid and makes each post tappable to a product page. It comes with a Later subscription and links out rather than selling on the page.

Common questions

When did Linkpop shut down? Shopify closed it on 7 July 2025, after closing sign-ups in June 2025.

Can I still use my Linkpop page? No. Logging in and editing ended on the shutdown date, and the page can no longer sell Shopify products.

Can a link in bio link to my Shopify products? Yes. On Keepp, each product card can open the product on your Shopify store, or sell it on the page with Stripe checkout, and you choose per product.

What is the best free Linkpop alternative? Keepp, if you want product cards with pictures and prices, checkout into your own Stripe account, and bookings, forms and chat on the same free page.
