Try a Page Before You Sign Up, and Claim It

Paste a link you already have, get a Keepp page built from it in under a minute, and claim it with an email code. No account needed to look.

Part of: Getting started

What you need

A link you already have. That can be a link in bio page, your own website, or your Google Maps listing.

You do not need an account to see the result. An email address is only needed at the point you want to keep the page.

Go to keepp.link/try, put your address in the box and press Build my page.

Anything public works:

  • A link in bio page. Your links, their titles and order, and any pictures attached to them.
  • Your website. Products with names, prices and photographs, opening hours, address, and the social profiles you link to.
  • A Google Maps listing. Business name, address, hours, phone number and the photographs on your listing. A short maps.app.goo.gl link is fine.

Only what is public on that page is read. There is nothing to log into and no account to connect.

It takes under a minute. The button reads Reading your page… while it works.

Step 2: Look at what came back

You land on a page showing what was built, drawn by the same renderer that serves live Keepp pages. What you are looking at is what a visitor would see.

Tap any block to open it, the same way a visitor would. The map opens, the cards open, the links go where they say they go.

What you get depends on what your source exposed. A Maps listing usually produces your photographs as cards, a map with your pin, hours by day and a link that calls you. A shop usually produces products as cards with their images and prices.

Nothing is published at this point. The page sits at a private address that only you have. It is not indexed, not linked from anywhere, and keepp.link/anything does not show it.

If it is not what you wanted, close the tab. Nothing was created that you need to undo.

Step 3: Claim it

Under the page there is Claim this page. It takes two things:

  • Your email. This becomes your account. There is no separate sign-up and no password.
  • Your page URL. The handle your page lives at, keepp.link/your-name. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, 3 to 30 characters.

Press Claim my page.

The handle is checked at this point, before any code is sent, so you find out whether the name you want is taken while you are still on the page rather than after a trip to your inbox.

Step 4: Enter the code

A six-digit code arrives by email. Type it in.

If it does not arrive within a minute or two, check spam. A code that has expired can be replaced by requesting another, and asking twice in quick succession is refused for a moment before it will send again.

Step 5: The page is yours

You land in the editor with the page loaded, and it is live at keepp.link/your-name from that moment.

Everything in it can be changed. Blocks can be reordered, edited or deleted, the colours and type are yours to set, and anything the import got wrong is a few taps to fix. See how your page works for blocks and publishing, and choosing the right block for what else you can add.

Changes you make after this stay a draft until you publish, so the live page keeps showing the last published version while you work.

The same claim step applies. Enter your email and the handle you want, take the code, and the page is yours.

The difference is how long you have. A page you built yourself lasts a day before the preview expires. A page somebody built and sent you lasts a week, so you can open it when you get to it.

Starting from scratch instead

If you would rather build from an empty page than from something you already have, see claim your page, which covers signing in and creating one directly.
