The waterfall walk
Forty minutes round trip, shaded the whole way. Go early on weekends and you will have it to yourselves.
Saturday farmers market
Bread, honey, maple syrup and the best peaches in the valley in August. Cash is easiest.
Fire tower at sunset
A steep climb for about an hour, and a view across five counties from the top. Bring a layer, it is always colder up there.
The diner on Main Street
Pancakes the size of the plate. Order the hash browns extra crispy.
Swimming hole by the old bridge
Cold, clear and deep enough to jump. Water shoes help with the rocks.
Stargazing from the cabin
No streetlights for miles. On a clear night, turn off the porch light and give your eyes ten minutes.
