My desk setup, piece by piece

The question I get under every video. This is everything on my desk right now, what it costs and why it stayed when the rest went back.

1. The desk lamp

Warm light that does not glare on the screen. Tested six, kept this one.

2. The earbuds

Good enough for calls, small enough to forget you are wearing them.

3. The webcam

Clear picture in a dim room, which is most rooms in winter.

4. The notebook

Dot grid, lies flat, survives a backpack.

5. The backpack

Fits the laptop, the charger and lunch. Nothing else has managed all three.
