The overshirt, oatmeal

€180

The overshirt, oatmeal

Cut boxy and unlined in a heavy oatmeal linen that starts stiff and gives up after about three washes, which is when it becomes the thing you reach for. Dropped shoulders so it goes over a jumper, two square patch pockets big enough for a phone and a paperback, flat sand buttons that will not catch on a bag strap. Sizes one to four, which run generous. If you are between two, take the smaller: it grows.

The long dress, indigo

The long dress, indigo

Sleeveless, straight across the neckline, with a full skirt that takes four metres of cloth and falls to the ankle. It comes with a narrow self belt but is cut to be worn loose as well, and most people end up doing both depending on the day. The indigo is piece-dyed so it will fade slowly and unevenly at the seams, which I think is the best thing about it and is worth knowing before you buy.

Ten percent off if you take the overshirt and the dress in the same order. They are cut from the same base cloth in two weights and are meant to be worn together.

Everything is made here in batches of twenty, which is as many as one person can cut, sew and finish in a fortnight. When a run sells out I do not reorder it, I make the next thing. If a seam goes in the first two years send it back and I will fix it.
