My approach

Spiritual direction is not therapy and it is not advice. It is an hour where somebody listens with you for what is going on underneath.

I mostly listen
You bring whatever is on your mind: a decision, a loss, a prayer life that has gone quiet, or nothing in particular. I ask questions and we notice things together.
Any tradition, or none
I was trained in a Christian contemplative school and have sat with Buddhists, Jews, seekers and people who would not call themselves religious at all.
Once a month is the usual rhythm
Most people meet monthly. Some come for a season and stop, and that is fine.
Why the first conversation is paid
It is a full session, not a sales call. You get my whole attention, and at the end we both decide whether to keep going.
